Impressions from the wild

Description:
I was thinking about the idea how would wildlife images look if we try to make them with perspectives similar to the one's used for making human portraits ? Only thing is such visuals would be too difficult to attempt as most subjects would either run away or would not allow us to close in for such intimate interactions. However, I tried this on an elephant recently in Kaziranga National Park, the idea was there in the mind for a long time. I could come close to what I had in mind recently and that too in spite of the elephant not liking my presence so close to it at all. I would immensely benefit to know about your thoughts about this image.

I'm not sure about the black and white, I personally think colour would make this photo stand out more. Composition and perspective are nice though...
